Description

Celebrating it's 100th birthday this year, this charming and most elegant ring or trinket box stands tall on four long cabriole legs.

The top has a raised silver border surrounding the inset piece of antique tortoiseshell inlaid with exquisite pique inlay incorporating ribbon and bow garlands together with musical lyre and trumpet motifs.

The box is hallmarked for Birmingham 1911 together with the makers initials WC for the sought-after silversmith, William Comyns.

Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/8" tall and the lid measuring 2" x 1 1/4".
