The neck painted with two small panels containing a hare, and a shishi dog, divided by a further karakusa scroll. Dragons flying amongst clouds, adorn the underside of the flared rim.
Two sprigs of flowering branches in iron red and gilt painted to the interior of the vase.
Height – 15”, 38 cm.
Width – 8 1/4”, 21 cm – at the rim.
Condition – Typical minor wear to the overglaze enamel. No damage. No restoration.
