Description

A fine set of 12 silver handled dessert knives. All handles are hallmarked for London 1812 and for specialist knife maker Moses Brent. The blades are original and are close plated and marked for Gilbert.

All of the knives are crested with a wild boar, but as can be seen on the last photograph, four knives have been crested on the reverse of the handle.

The knives are in good condition, with some slight age related wear. There is some wear to the close plated blades, especially to one blade, which has slight 'bubbling' in the plating.
