Description

A good quality nine-carat gold gold chain bracelet with an alternating pattern of links and a heart shaped padlock clasp. A timeless classic piece of jewellery.

Like most of these bracelets, the chain will have been made from an old Victorian-Edwardian watch chain, with the padlock clasp added later.

The padlock and safety chain are rendered in pure nine carat yellow gold, while the bracelet itself is of a slightly rosier colour. The padlock is hallmarked for Birmingham 1961, while the chain is stamped 9.375 (nine-carat gold) in several places.

In excellent antique/vintage condition. The padlock clicks shut and opens as it should, with a fine safety chain for additional security.
