Large Chinese Export Blue & White Jug of Barrel Form

Description

A large Chinese Export blue & white jug, circa 1800, of barrel form painted with a continous landsdape scene of buildings before a river, with cross-hatched border to the rim, the ribbed twin-strap handles with foliate embossed terminals.

In good overall condition, the inside edge of the spout with one small chip.

24cm high, 22cm wide including handle.
