Antique silver Rolex full hunter pocket watch, 1925.

The watch has a 15-jewel Rolex stem winding movement (believed to be the Montilier 666 calibre) which is working nicely. The movement has been signed by the original retailer of the watch, Northern Goldsmiths Ltd, Newcastle. This is a high grade movement, ‘timed in 3 positions for all climates”. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 52mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the three covers for Birmingham 1925, together with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison of the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case is in good condition, one small very minor indentation to the front, and two small indentations to the back.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is a glass lens which is in good condition.

The dial is signed Northern Goldsmiths Co, Newcastle, Admiralty. It is in lovely condition.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
