Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
She wears a bodice and pleated long skirt, as she holds a fan in her hand. They are meeting a similarly dressed gentleman, who offers the woman a flower picked from the tree filled garden in which they stroll. In the background can be seen a small village, over which flocks of birds fly. The rear with small foot rim and makers mark for Obekend Byl.
Date circa 1750.
