Description

A lovely nine-carat gold late Victorian/early Edwardian watch fob which could happily be worn around the neck as a pendant. The fob contains a working compass set behind glass, which can be removed by just pushing it out from one side; on that side the compass is edged in yellow gold, contrasting with the more rosy gold of the fob itself. Either side of the pendant can be worn to the front.

The fob is stamped 9CT and JD on one edge.

The piece is in very good antique condition, with just some abrasion to the glass surfaces and dust specks visible behind.
