Rare antique Victorian sterling silver brandy warmer. This unusual item has a lift and twist mechanism to reveal the burner area. The brandy would be poured into the top and warmed through.
I have only ever seen one other.
It is fully hallmarked for Andrew Barrett & Sons, London, 1897. 162g

Hallmarks slightly rubbed, some wear and tiny dings to base.
