In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A table snuff box is a decorative container designed to hold powdered tobacco, intended for display on a table or desk rather than personal carriage in a pocket. Popular during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, these vessels allowed hosts to offer snuff to guests in social settings.

Georgian silver gilt boxes are constructed from sterling silver coated with a thin layer of gold, a process historically achieved through fire gilding. These pieces frequently feature high-relief repousse work, chasing, and engraved details.

Authentic George IV silver bears British hallmark impressions, including the makers mark, the lion passant for sterling silver, a town mark such as the leopards head for London, a date letter, and the sovereigns profile duty mark.

An antique silver table box serves as an accent piece on an office desk, coffee table, or mantelpiece. It functions individually as a focal decorative object or alongside leather-bound books and classic brass accessories.

Silver gilt items require gentle care to prevent wearing down the gilding layer. Dust the surface with a soft, dry cotton cloth, avoiding abrasive polishes, chemical cleaners, or ultrasonic dipping fluids.
