Description

Here we have for sale today this excellent Charles II and later Lowboy.

Dating 1670 ish and later, and all made in a mixture of Elm and Oak.

All made in this joint and peg construction with turned legs and a stretcher arrangement, with a single drawer, (drawer having this replacement Period brass handle) also this moulded edge top, with carvings to the top and drawer front.

The majority having its original polish and patina, although we've had to tidy up the top to remove some water marks, this was unavoidable and needed to be done. (please see pictures)

Solid in all its joints with NO breaks and NO woodworm.

Dear customers all items of furniture can be viewed at our premises at Norbury in Shropshire SY13 4HY by appointment only, this is due to items being packed away in storage. ( and we would need to unpack them for display, please note this is not a problem, as we welcome viewers/customers)

All items for sale have been restored if restoration is required, unless otherwise stated. Upholstered items will have been re-upholstered, however if the fabric choice is not to taste, we offer a re-upholstery service in customers own fabric, or from our wide range of Linwood and Jim Dickens Fabric ( samples available )
