Description

An original brass car / carriage side lamp dating from the early 20th century. It has a brass loop handle and the front glass lens hinges open. The brass base unscrews to access the original oil burner and it has a maker's plaque which reads "H&B The Side Lamp No.608" .

The lamp is in good original condition and displays well. It has clearly been used and as such there are signs of age and use, some tarnishing, some dinks and small dents and surface marks but no major damages. The lamp is untested and I have not had it burning with paraffin in, however the burner looks to be in good shape and I see no reason why it should not work as designed.
