With a swept and domed lid, hinging open with a spreading leaf decorated thumb piece.
The body tapering in a classical form to a beaded collar, before the concave and ogee foot, finished with a beaded foot rim. The jug with an elegant tapering handle, edged with likewise beaded decoration.
Fully hallmarked for Walter and Charles Sissons, London 1912.
