Elmgarden has dated this Arts and Crafts Fire Screen to the 1890s.
This is a Classic in the Arts and Crafts Style, it is a hand beaten steel screen, which is mounted on very stylish wrought Iron feet which carry all the way to the top culminating with a naturalistic curved decorative handle.
The screen design in the centre of the screen shows an aristocratic peacock
The screen is 20” wide, 31” high and 7” deep at the floor
