Pair Art Deco Thornton Smith Oak Cricket Bookends.

Description

This pair of handsome oak bookends which are by Thornton Smith Company are wonderfully made in the form of cricket stumps, miniature bats and red cricket balls.

A very nice quality item for a cricket fan that was handmade in c1930 and still have a maker's label attached to one. A fantastic gift and would look cool in a home office or sports bar.

Dimensions: Width: 9 cm (3 1/2"). Depth: 12 cm (4 3/4"). Height: 19.5 cm (7 3/4").

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. A few small nibbles, chips and bumps leaving a nice patina.

Please note that only the bookends are included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
