A magnificent quality French mahogany antique vitrine display cabinet from the Victorian period with bowed ends, original mirror back and glass shelves with a drawer to the front.
The cabinet has an open display base and is stood on turned tapering fluted and stop reeded legs and is fitted with the finest quality bronze gilt mounts and mouldings throughout. The top section of the cabinet is fitted with an open pierced bronze gilt gallery.
The cabinet has an inset coloured original marble on the top and lower shelf and retains its original locks which are in full working order with a key.

Paul Sormani
Paul Sormani was born in 1817 in Venice and moved to Paris in the mid 19th century. Sormani won many awards for his cabinet making works of art and was renowned for his high level of excellence. He worked up until his death in 1877.

DELIVERY - Delivery is free for mainland UK. Small goods will be delivered within a couple of working days which are provided with a tracking number and are usually next day delivery services. All of our small items (mantel clocks, smaller chandeliers, wall lights, miscellaneous items) are packaged to a high standard. Double boxed, bubble wrapped and bedded in foam. Our preferred courier is Parcelforce, however we may send with a different courier occasionally.
Larger items are delivered by a trustworthy carrier and we aim to deliver within two weeks
... of purchase but please allow three weeks. We use smaller carrier companies which take a bit longer but we would rather your item arrives at your door safely. Like our small items, our larger items are packaged well and protected.
