Antique 19th Century Austrian Bronze Moorish Man Carrying A Basket

A stunning 19th century Austrian “Vienna” bronze study of a Moorish man carrying a faux bamboo basket on his back, adorned with hanging leaves, the man with cold painted dark skin wearing a matching tassel hat and waist cloth painted with fleur de lis in silver and gold. This fine quality hand chased bronze retains most of its original cold painted decoration and is in excellent condition standing 7 ¾ inches tall.
