A gorgeous silver jewel or trinket box of attractive design dating from the reign of George V. The bow fronted body of this appealing piece stands on four cabriole legs with pad feet. The hinged lid is set with beautiful tortoiseshell and has a central silver pique work insert. The interior retains the original silk lining. A fine example from the Birmingham Assay Office, both decorative and usable. Dimensions below.
