A very sweet small Worcester teapot of barrel form with grooved handle and flat topped cover with moulded rose bud knop. Printed with the rose-centred spray. Hatched crescent mark to the base. c.1765-1770.
It measures 16cm (6 1/4'') long, 10.2cm (4'') high and 9cm (3 1/2'') wide.
In excellent condition: there is some minor and near enough invisible restoration to a small section of the flange under the cover that sits inside the pot. Otherwise it is perfect bar the tiniest nibbles to two petals of the knop.
