A very high quality and novel sterling silver bottle stopper with a Victorian Ale drinker to the top. It has been wonderfully made and the detail is superb.
 
Fully hallmarked sterling silver for Edinburgh, it dates to between 1834 & 1876.
 
The markers mark is of Millidge & Son.
 
It is an excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
 
The cork is newly fitted.
 
6.2cm height.
 
9.3cm height including cork.
 
39 grams.
 
A rare and unique piece of Victorian Scottish silver that can be used and appreciated.
