An identical pierced gallery of scrolling foliage with swans flanking baskets of flowers and fruits

stamped by Thomire.

Casting of acanthus leaves, and spirals on candle arms.

The MET Museum has a much larger malachite vase with gilt-bronze mounts also signed

by Thomire and dated 1819 (44.152a, b).
