K0611 Fine quality English Edwardian writing desk of narrow proportions, having maroon leather writing surface, satinwood string inlaid and crossbanded top above two mahogany lined and crossbanded drawers fitted with brass swan neck handles, original working locks and a key, all standing on slender, satinwood string inlaid tapered legs terminating in original brass castors. This antique writing table would make a good dressing table or side table, polished to each side enables free standing. This antique writing table has been sympathetically restored and is in home ready condition. c1900
