Below is a material lined compartment originally for storing wool and sewing equipment. This fine antique table stands on four tapering legs with an X framed cross stretcher for added stability. The top, drawer and legs are all inlaid with satinwood banding. Solid and sturdy, a stylish small table, with good colour and patina would make a wonderful sewing table or could simply be used as a lamp table or side table with added storage.
