A fine Bow porcelain octagonal plate with moulded prunus blossom around the rim and painted in famille rose style in bright pastel enamels. Unmarked, c.1755.
It measures 22.2cm (8 3/4'') wide and 3cm (1 3/16'') high.
In excellent condition: a small chip to one corner and a couple of tiny nicks to two other corners. No other damage or repair. Minimal handling wear and some light discoloration to the reverse.
