The lid fits well and when opened reveals a beautifully gilded interior and where the hallmarks can be found for Birmingham 1895 together with the makers initials D & F for the renowned silversmiths Deakin & Francis.
Exquisite and in excellent condition, measuring 6 3/4" long x 1 1/2" deep x 1 1/4" tall.
