This splendid ORIENTAL CARVED CAMPHOR WOOD TRUNK dates from circa 1910. The carved central medallions on the sides are decorated and make an eye-catching contrast. The side handles and feet are also beautifully carved.
The TRUNK is carved on all sides so can be viewed from any angle. This makes it ideal to use as a Coffee Table if desired.
When the hinged lid is opened there is a glorious smell of Camphor and there is the original, fitted, sliding tray inside.
