A unique piece of American folk art. This early 20th century carved and hand-painted owl decoy came from a mid west collection and would originally have sat on a post. (See hole at the front) In lovely original condition, with hand-painted and weather worn patina, and glass eyes. It is a one-off, highly desirable piece. In excellent condition. Just a few nibbles to the base.
