Edwardian Silver & Dual Colour Guilloche Enamel Rouge Pot by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1909

Description

This exquisite silver and green guilloche enamel rouge pot is dated Birmingham 1909 and was made by the prolific Levi & Salaman. The delicately engraved guilloche enamel lid an unusual pale lime green colour with an elegant white enamel banding. The inner lid gilt.

Fitted on an onion-shaped hobnail-cut crystal glass body. The base star-cut. A delightful little rouge pot.

Hallmarks:

L&S for Levi & Salaman.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "k" for 1909.

Condition:

Very good.

Enamel lid in excellent condition.

Glass in perfect condition. No chips or cracks.

Dimensions:

Height: 4cm / 1.4 inches.

Lid diameter: 3.5cm / 1.3 inches.

Maximum diameter: 4.5cm / 1.6 inches.
