Howard & Sons Slipper Chair

A mid-nineteenth century slipper chair by Howard & Sons, C.1850.
 
Raised on turned walnut forelegs and splayed rear legs, complete with original Cope Collinson brass castors, with the firms number stamp to the rear left leg .
 
Professionally and traditionally upholstered in a striking blue Howard and Sons cotton fabric, the exact specification of the original found on the chair, featuring a deep buttoned back rest.
 
With wonderful form and comfort, structurally very good.
