This is an unusual Tunbridge Ware nutmeg grater. The main body is decorated with Van Dyke pattern triangles, all different wood species to give a very striking effect. The lid is decorated with a geometric mosaic of small diamond shapes, again using a variety of woods.
THe lid unscrews to reveal the grater and the base unscrews for storage of nutmegs.
A very striking piece.
It measures 5cm w x 4cm h.
