Description

A fine early Coalport porcelain dessert plate with a scalloped gadrooned rim

Hand-painted rose and peony flower bouquets in vivid polychrome enamelling and sumptuous arabesque gilding against a wide cobalt blue panel.



England, c. 1820's, George IV period.

Height 3.5 cm

Weight 603 g



Condition: Wear to gilding in the centre and some wear to gilding along the edge. Otherwise excellent antique condition; no cracks, chips or signs of restoration.
