C19th Brass Club Fender

19th century
Description

A good substantial C19th brass club fender; having a fabulous mature red leather seat; the full width padded seat with well patinated oxblood red leather having heat guards to the inner sides. The brass column supports with turned collars to the tops and bases. Raised on stepped moulded plinth base. The brass has a lovely patinated bronze appearance but could be polished if desired. This is a very good quality club fender being more impressive and substantial than the norm.
