A 1930’s golden oak cupboard by Maples & Co. of London. The polished and moulded edge top above a pair medullary ray book matched oak veneered doors with chased and pierced escutcheon plate and working locks with keys. Below are 2 drawers with moulded fronts and turned square pulls. The lower 2 doors with conforming veneers and escutcheon plate. Both cupboards having shelved interiors and the whole raised on ogee shaped bracket feet. One drawer bearing the maker’s label for Maples & co. by Royal Appointment. London, Paris and Buenos Aires.
