A Stunning Silver Brooch Set with Gold Mounted Amethyst

Description

A stunning late 19th century sterling silver brooch. This lovely piece is set with an octagonal step cut amethyst in a foliate border of old cut, clear glass paste stones. The amethyst is attractively set in a gold mount and the brooch is secured with a pin and C clasp to the reverse. A wonderful period example. Dimensions below.
