A Small 'Ting-tang' Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

An Edwardian mahogany cased mantel clock of smaller proportions. A stepped caddy top pediment surmounted by a brass carrying handle. Brass edging to the case front sides. A silvered dial with a chapter ring with Roman numerals and blued steel hands. A brass fretted back door. Brass ogee bracket feet. An 8-day duration 'Ting Tang' mechanism striking the quarter hours on 2 gongs by Winterhalder & Hofmeier. Circa 1910.
