Pine Victorian Painted Chest Of Drawers

An attractive pine chest of drawers dating to the Victorian period. Useful, with two smaller drawers sitting above two larger drawers.
 
With the various marks showing age and character.
 
Later painted in a colour called Pale Wedgwood, which is described as ‘a colour derived from the 18th century blue ‘Jasperware’, popularised by the innovative industrialist Josiah Wedgwood at his Etrurian pottery in Staffordshire. Pale Wedgwood sits happily alongside related neutrals, such as Mid Lead Colour and Shallows, for a clean and calming aesthetic.’
