A fine Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Plate from Spode''s greatly sought after ''Indian Sporting'' Series, this one printed in the ''Death of the Bear'' pattern, catalogued by Drakard and Holdway, { Spode Transfer Printed Ware 1784 - 1833 }, as Pattern No. P904 - 13. The reverse with impressed Upper Case Maker''s mark, viz. SPODE 4 and underglaze blue printed Upper Case Maker''s mark, SPODE.
