This lovely snuff box in the shape of a book, it dates from the late 1700s.
The book box has a lovely carved spine and chip carved decoration on the front, back and sides. To access the snuff box, unusually the lid on both ends can slide out. Both lids fit well. A great snuff book box.
It measures 6.5cm h x 5.2cm w x 3cm d.
