A mid-nineteenth century deep-buttoned slipper chair by Gillows, C.1860.
With ebonised turned tapering forelegs and splayed chamfered rear legs, raised on original Cope’s brass castors.
Traditionally upholstered in a green Toile cotton fabric, stamped twice to the rear legs ‘GILLOW’ structurally very good.
