A beautiful original antique French portico clock by Vincenti. It is made of white marble mounted with ormolu (finely gilded bronze).
A matching pair of candle sticks complete the set.
The dial is prettily painted with floral swags between the numbers on porcelain enamel. It is complete with it's original finely fretted gilt brass hands and convex glass.
The French movement is by Vincenti and is of high quality. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original with ormolu sunburst. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. Condition of the ormolu is excellent, beautifully clean and bright some slight discolouration and wear. Marble has some discolouration and nibbles to the edges, there is a chip to the right hand rear of the base and a hairline to the right hand pillar. The dial is also excellent with no damage. The original glass has some slight scratching.
