Artisan Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The exterior features a wonderful blue guilloche enamel with a very fine starburst/ray pattern.
The interior is fully silver gilt which provides a layer of protection from the contents inside oxidising/tarnishing the silver.
The push button clasp still functions very well with an audible 'snap' upon closure, keeping all contents held within safely.
Whilst originally designed for holding cigarettes, this case could also be used for short-form cigars, holding matches or small items. A perfect gift or addition for the discerning individual and an equally delightful conversation starter.
A full set of English hallmarks are present on the interior of both sides.

CONDITION
Good Condition - The cigarette case is in good vintage condition with no major damage or issues. For accuracy: there are some spots to the interior gilding and some very minor scratches to the outer enamel, however, no chips or losses. Otherwise in good order and wear commensurate with age.
