Super ladies ebony hard wood and hallmarked silver walking stick or cane.
The pommel to the top is silver with planished, hand beaten decoration. Stamped with the London assay office mark and date letter for 1919. The makers stamp is for Jonathan Howell & Co Ltd.
The light weight ebony so is strong enough to support but as a ladies cane is quite fine and was more used for show.
The silver is in good condition, a surface dink to the top but this hasn''t gone through the silver. left with the centre of the dink unpolished so that it shows up in the pictures but would polish so that''s it''s almost unnoticeable.
The ferrule is original and made of steel and brass.
It measures 92 cm 36 1/4 inches in length, the pommel is 2.9 cm 1 1/8 inches wide and 4.5 cm 1 3/4 inches long.
It''s in excellent condition for it''s age and suitable to be used on a regular basis.
No damage, other than dinks in the silver. No repairs to any part of the cane.
