Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.
It has a solid 9ct yellow gold case and a beautiful facet cut design solid 9ct gold bracelet which sparkles as it glides around the wrist.
It is quite stunning with a white silver dial which is in wonderful unmarked original condition. A new glass has been fitted and the case and bracelet professionally cleaned and polished so it is absolutely pristine.
As you would expect from Rolex the watch is fully marked Precision on the dial and movement, the bracelet and case are fully hallmarked and the bracelet marked Rolex with the logo on the winding crown.
Rolex are one of the most exclusive makers in the world and this watch certainly has that understated elegance which resonates class.
The watch case is slightly larger than most models from this period and measures measures 20mm in diameter not including the crown.
It fits a maximum wrist size of 6 inches or 15.5 cms but this can easily be reduced by any competent jeweller.
Overall this watch is in beautiful condition and looks as if it was hardly ever worn, it would certainly make a perfect gift.
