Established in 1775 by Queen Juliane Marie's decree, the company initially specialised in crafting intricate dining sets for the Danish Royal Family. In 1790, Royal Copenhagen introduced the iconic Flora Danica pattern, now revered as one of the most significant and admired porcelain motifs in history.
