Silver Elephant by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths

1900 - 1920
Description

This may be a small elephant, but it is absolutely wonderful. I have no idea if it has a use, the mouth and trunk are both hollow, maybe it was for toothpicks. It is a wonderful colour of silver with great patination. The feet are marked for GS&SM London 1910, the base has the number 7, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd Regent Street.
