Large Early 19th Painted Mirror

Description

An Early 19th Century Mirror.

The frame with a stepped and rounded outer moulding, finished to the inner edge with an ogee profile, before the flat facing surrounding and reeded slip moulding, holding the original, attractively faded, plate. The lower edge with conforming plinth sides, flanking the lower rail. Complete with the original panel back boards.

The whole in an appealing worn white and silvered paint decoration.

Date circa 1830.
