£450    $550    €533
We are delighted to offer this elegant antique Edwardian art nouveau pendant necklace made c.1905.

The goldwork is beautifully crafted with a naturalistic art nouveau design of scrolled foliate motifs forming an almost heart-shaped design.

The pendant features two lovely faceted amethysts with a rich and regal purple hue. Further embellishments of fine seed pearls accentuate the overall appearance and create a contrast to the purple and gold tones.

The bottom drop amethyst and the bail (top) move freely which truly comes to life upon wearing and embraces the fluid and free design of the art nouveau period.

Distinctly Edwardian and distinguished from contemporary pieces, this pendant makes for a wonderful addition to any antique jewellery lover''s collection and a conversation starter upon wearing.

Owing to its bail and pin on the reverse side, it can be worn practically both as a brooch or a necklace and its alluring colour is a wonderful accent to any outfit.

Amethyst is known to be the birthstone for February and Pearls, June.

The pendant is marked 9ct on the reverse side indicating 9ct gold purity. Please note the pin on the reverse side is not gold.
