Expertly carved Japanese antique Meiji (late 19th/early 20thC) wooden statue of a Buddhist monk on a plinth with remains of gold gilding. Statue measures 10.5cm high x 10cm wide x 8cm deep, base 13cm x 9cm, total 17.5 high.
