This excellent watkins and doncaster 18 drawer collectors cabinet in english walnut has exceptionally wide drawers capable of accommodating a variety of collectables.

This cabinet was supplied by messrs watkins and doncaster of the strand, london circa 1900 and was originally used to house a collection of british butterflies but could now be used for a multitude of collecting pursuits especially longer items as the drawers are 26.25 inches wide. Smoothly sliding drawers on hidden bearer runners.

All drawers have glazed frame, closely fitting tops and are base lined with plastazote and side lined with white acid free cartridge paper. Original glass to all drawers. Original lock and key and shoot bolts.
