Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

A Victorian watchmakers tabletop chest is a compact, multi-drawer cabinet crafted during the nineteenth century to store precision horological components, specialized tools, or personal collectibles.

These chests were typically crafted using solid or veneered mahogany, pine or oak secondary drawer linings, and cast brass hardware such as drop handles and escutcheons.

Authentic nineteenth-century examples feature hand-cut dovetail drawer joints, age-related timber shrinkage, historical wear around keyholes, and original brass fittings.

Position the cabinet atop an office desk, console table, or library bookshelf to provide functional storage for stationery, jewellery, or small trinkets.

Dust the surface regularly with a dry cloth and apply a high-quality beeswax polish annually, keeping the piece away from direct sunlight and radiators to prevent timber movement.
